From february 7, 2017, Cuba changes its vaccination requirements in the list of countries and requirements for vaccination against yellow fever and by virtue of the International sanitary regulations RSI2005 and taking into account the International epidemiological situation ,Cuba will require at its points of entry that all travelers from a country at risk of yellow fever, must present the International certificate of vaccination , otherwise you will place under epidemiological surveillance for 10 days in a health institution from the date they left the country or they will not be allow to enter.
This measure is being applied directly at this time to travelers from Brasil , Republic of Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Gastrointestinal diseases
However tourists from other countries don’t have the antibodies to combat some gatrointestinal diseases, so it is recommended to drink boiled or bottled water.

Health is free for Cubans, but tourist are cared for example at the Cira Garcia Clinic. Since May2010 it is mandatory to have medical insurance to enter to CUBA.

CLOTHES TO WEAR:
Cuba is a tropical country. All year round is hot and all year round you can bathe. Exceptionally there are some winter days around January because it is northern hemisphere in which a cold front enters and the night temperature can drop to 10 degrees . if you are thinking of traveling in that season bring a jacket .The most comfortable shoes are sandals.
